Beyond sharing knowledge, we incorporate sustainability into every step of our process. A few ways we do this:

Where do you source your products from?
We love a little mystery! While we’re all about transparency at Platform Vintage, our sourcing secrets are part of what makes our collection so special. What we can tell you is that we carefully handpick each piece to ensure it’s unique, full of character, and ready to complement your personal style.

Can I return an item if I'm not satisfied?
We totally get it—sometimes a piece just doesn’t work out the way you hoped! Since we’re all about sustainability, we do our best to give you detailed photos, accurate measurements, and highlight any wear and tear so there are no surprises when your package arrives. Vintage pieces have their own charm, and we want you to love yours from the moment you unbox it!
That said, if you’ve carefully checked everything before buying but still feel the item isn’t right for you after receiving your package? No worries! You can request a return within 30 days of receiving your order. Just make sure the item is in the same condition as you received it, with tags and original packaging intact. What should I do if my item is damaged or incorrect?
We’re so sorry if something isn’t right with your order. Please check your package as soon as it arrives, and if you’ve received a damaged or incorrect item, reach out to us right away. We’ll take a look at the issue and make it right for you as quickly as possible.

How do you know from what decade items are?
This is hard to answer with a simple clear, cut and dry sentence. Basically we look at three things: logo's, (care) labels and style.
An example: A lot of brands have old logos you can find online. For instance to recognise what decade this lammy coat is from, we used the care label and the logo to date it. The care label has a little dash under the encircled P, meaning it's from 1980 or later. The logo from C&A best matches the one used from 1984 to 1998. The style looks 80s judging from the fit and the lapels. The brand 'Canda' was founded in the 1970s. Therefore we feel pretty confident it's an 80s lammy coat.

How will I know if my return has been approved?
As soon as we receive and check your return, we’ll send you an update on its status. If everything looks good, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 10 business days.
